“The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go."
- Dr. Seuss Hello all-- welcome to my wiki! A little about me: I’m a native of Bathurst, New Brunswick and the oldest of three children. I come from a long line of teachers and am honoured to be following in the footsteps of my mother, who followed in the footsteps of her mother, who followed in the footsteps of her mother … (I’m sure you catch my drift).
I graduated from the University of New Brunswick in the Spring of 2008 with an Arts degree in History and English. I then spent some time in the education field as a supply teacher and English tutor for School District 15 before flying across the Atlantic in early January 2009. After spending six months dabbling in Europe’s diverse cultures, I made the journey back to Canada to begin my studies as a pre-service teacher at St. Thomas University. My lessons at St. Thomas have proven invaluable and with my thirst for adventure not yet quenched, I look forward to going abroad and sharing what I’ve learned with students from (literally) all walks of life!
